Harrison Ford Is Curious and Excited about BLADE RUNNER 2
It's been awhile since we've heard anything about Blade Runner 2. The last thing we heard was back in May when Green Lantern co-writer Michael Green was hired to write the script, but the sequel is moving forward, and there's a good chance that it will eventually happen. During an "Ask Me Anything" Q&A on Reddit, Harrison Ford was asked how he felt about a sequel to Ridley Scott's classic sci-fi noir thriller. This was his response:
“I’m quite curious and excited about seeing a new script for Blade Runner if in fact the opportunity would exist to do another, if it’s a good script I would be very anxious to work with Ridley Scott again, he’s a very talented and passionate filmmaker. And I think it would be very interesting to revisit the character.”
The actor then went on to reveal the first Blade Runner movie was the most difficult movie that he's ever worked on, saying,
"The set for Blade Runner was maybe the hardest set I've ever worked on because I think we worked 50 nights in a row, and it was always raining."
I want to see this sequel happen, and it would be amazing to see Scott and Ford team up again to bring it to life. I'm really curious to see where they will take the story.
