Harrison Ford Is Rumored to Reprise His Role as Han Solo in a STAR WARS Project
I huge rumor has surfaced regarding Harrison Ford reprising his role as Han Solo in an upcoming Star Wars project. This is only a rumor and nothing has been confirmed, but if it’s true, it will be a huge surprise for fans. That being said, if you don’t want to know what he’s rumored to appear in, you might want to stop reading this now.
According to this latest rumor, which comes from Comic Book, Han Solo is set to show in a small role in the big grand finale of The Book of Boba Fett.
It’s explained that Harrison Ford will be de-aged for the younger version of Solo. They will be using the same de-aging techniques that were used for Mark Hamill's younger appearance as Luke Skywalker in The Mandalorian Season 2 finale.
It’s not really too far-fetched to think that this is possible, because it totally is. Ford has been shooting Indiana Jones 5 in London, and it there that Lucasfilm reportedly “snuck him into the production of The Book of Boba Fett for three days, to film his Han Solo cameo.”
It’d certainly be interesting to see Han Solo again get some insight on what he’s been up to since the events of Return of the Jedi. It makes sense that he’d find himself once again involved with the criminal underworld in some way. Most likely having to pay off some outstanding debts that he might have.
Oh yeah, and there’s also that little thing of being captured by Boba Fett and frozen in carbonite in The Empire Strikes Back and delivered to Jabba The Hutt. It’s safe to say that Solo would be holding a grudge, and if he hears that Boba Fett is alive and running the criminal underworld, Solo would definitely want to pay him a visit.
The question is… will they end up working together to take down a common enemy? Possibly Crimson Dawn? We’ll just have to wait and see!
