Hasbro and Renegade Game Studios Expand Deal with G.I. JOE, MY LITTLE PONY, POWER RANGERS, and TRANSFORMERS Games in the Works

Renegade Game Studios recently made a big announcement. One of their bigger games is Power Rangers: Heroes of the Grid in partnership with Hasbro, and it appears things are going great for them as the partnership between the companies is growing. Renegade will now be making games for G.I. Joe, My Little Pony, and Transformers. Details for these games will be revealed in the coming months, but you can head over and join the newsletter to be among the first to learn about the new titles.

If you’re a Power Rangers fan, Heroes of the Grid is just the tip of the iceberg. For a while now, we’ve known that the team at Renegade has been working on a new Power Rangers game, and now we know a little bit more. We know that there are two new Power Rangers games in the works.

First, we have a new deck-building game which I’m excited about. This game will be available to demo during Renegade Con (October 9-11) and at Renegade’s Morphin Meet starting October 23. Then, we’ve got an RPG that will use the rules from 5th Edition as its core. I’m excited for this one, but also a little sad that it’ll be based on 5E instead of being an entirely new system of rules. Fans can expect the games to be available in the second quarter of 2021.

In addition, Renegade announced that they’ll be launching new websites for these new Hasbro games this fall. Fans will find information about organized play, achievements, events, and more like the current free monthly scenarios for Heroes of the Grid. Scott Gaeta of Renegade said:
