Hasbro Introduces Asajj Ventress and Kit Fisto Lightsabers to Their Force FX Elite Line-Up

Hasbro actually has a pretty awesome line of high-quality lightsaber replicas in their Star Wars Force FX Elite line-up. Over the years they’ve released several lightsabers of some of the main characters from the franchise like Luke Skywalker, Darth Vader, Obi-Wan Kenobi, and Kylo Ren.

Hasbro has now announced that there are lightsabers coming for the Dathomirian Sith assassin Asajj Ventress and the Jedi alien Kit Fisto. The announcement at an anime and manga convention in Spain called The Saló del Manga de Barcelona.

Here are some photos and details for each of the lightsabers:

Asajj Ventress Lightsaber

The paired lightsabers used by Komari Vosa and Asajj Ventress emitted a red blade when activated. The activation stud on these lightsabers was concealed. As paired lightsabers, the two weapons could be joined together at the hilt with fibercord to function as a saberstaff, but due to the curved form of the handle, it was somewhat more difficult to wield, especially with the precision demanded by Makashi.

Kit Fisto Lightsaber

Jedi Master Kit Fisto utilized a lightsaber during the Clone Wars against the Confederacy of Independent Systems. Fisto modified his lightsaber by using two crystals charged by an ignition pulse split into two currents, this allowed the beam to energize when fully submerged in water. This customization served him well when he was assigned to the watery battlefronts of Kamino and Mon Cala.
