Hasbro Now Has the Master Toy License for GHOSTBUSTERS

Earlier this week, Hasbro got another toy license. Sony announced recently that Hasbro has acquired the master toy license for Ghostbusters. The toy company is planning to “create a wide variety of toys inspired by the franchise and its entertainment properties globally designed to appeal to both fans of the original franchise, and a new generation of Ghostbusters around the world.” That’s a pretty tall order with how fans can be these days. Fans can expect the first toys in the Ghostbusters line to become available in 2020 around the same time as the new Ghostbusters movie is set to release.

Now, I think Hasbro will do a fine job. They’ve been champions with other beloved franchises like Transformers and Power Rangers, so I think fans of Ghostbusters have a lot to look forward to.
