Hasbro Reveals 4 New TRANSFORMERS Figures
The latest Fan First Friday from Hasbro was focused on Transformers. Four new toys were revealed with one item in the Generations line and three that make up the third wave of the Studio series. The Generations entry is the Shattered Glass Starscream coming in as a Voyager class figure. Standing at 7” tall, the heroic Starscream (Shattered Glass is an AU where the Decepticons are the good guys) transforms into a Cybertronian Jet in 22 moves and wields 2 Energon swords. This figure is exclusive to Hasbro Pulse and will release on September 1 for $38.99. Also, it comes with the third issue of IDW’s Shattered Glass mini-series.
All three of the Studio series figures come from The Transformers: The Movie and will launch on August 1 with the first one being the Leader class Dinobot Slug who comes with Daniel Witwicky. Dinobot Slug stands 8.5” tall and can transform in 32 steps. Daniel Witwicky does not transform but can sit on Dinobot Slug in both modes. Fans will be able to grab this figure for $49.99 from most major retailers.
Next, we have the Deluxe class Gnaw. Standing at 4.5” and with the ability to transform into a Sharkticon in 17 steps, Gnaw is a figure many fans will want. The Gnaw figure even features translucent eyes and an articulated jaw and arms. This Sharkticon will set you back $19.99 at most major retailers.
Finally, Wreck-Gar will be getting a Voyager class figure at 6.5” tall. This Transformer can convert to a motorcycle in 22 steps and comes with an Armor Axe and 2 wheel accessories. You’ll be able to find this figure at most major retailers for $29.99.
