Hasbro Reveals New Multiverse Action Figures For Marvel's WHAT IF...? Animated Series
Hasbro has revealed a new line of Marvel action figures and these are based on the multiverse characters that we’ll be introduced to in Marvel’s What If…? animated series.
This first wave of figures includes T’Challa as Star-Lord, Peggy Carter as Captain Britain, a villainous version of Doctor Strange, a zombie version of Captain America, and the Spider-Man Sorcerer Supreme, who is labeled as Zombie Hunter Spider-Man. There are also figures that feature Nebula sporting a blonde wig and the Hydra Stomper, which is an Iron Man-style suit that’s controlled by Steve Rogers.
If you collect all of the figures, you’ll be able to assemble The Watcher, who is the narrator of the series. You can check out all of the figures below. If you want to buy any of these action figures, they go on sale starting at 1:00 P.M. ET today on July 29th at Hasbro Pulse.
Marvel’s What If…? is an anthology series where The Watcher looks at instances of where the MCU could have gone in a completely different direction. The series will include most of the MCU cast reprising their roles in the series, which will examine the 23 past films in the MCU, but each of the stories will feature one key difference showing how the story would have played out differently.
Jeffrey Wright serves as the narrator for What If...?, voicing the all-seeing Watcher and he’s joined by Michael B. Jordan as Killmonger, Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes, Josh Brolin as Thanos, Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner/The Hulk, Tom Hiddleston as Loki, Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury, Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Hayley Atwell as Agent Peggy Carter, Chadwick Boseman as Black Panther, Karen Gillan as Nebula, Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye, Paul Rudd as Ant-Man, Michael Douglas as Hank Pym, Neal McDonough as Dum Dum Dugan, Dominic Cooper as Howard Stark, Sean Gunn as Kraglin, Natalie Portman as Jane Foster, Taika Waititi as Korg, Toby Jones as Arnim Zola, Djimon Hounsou as Korath, Jeff Goldblum as Grandmaster, and Michael Rooker as Yondu.
The trailer also announces that Marvel's What If...? will make its debut on Disney+ on August 11th, 2021.
