Hasbro Reveals the First Wave 6 Figures for the POWER RANGERS Lightning Collection

During Hasbro’s recent Fan First Friday, they revealed the four figures that would make up Wave 6 of the Power Rangers Lightning Collection line. The presentation included Cory who is the sculptor for the Power Rangers toys since Hasbro started making them which is pretty cool. All four of these figures are 6” and will be available for $19.99 on September 1. So, what characters make up Wave 6?

In Space Yellow

Ashley was pretty cool in Power Rangers In Space, so it’s exciting to see her make the cut. It’s also just good to see more female characters. She’ll be brandishing both the Astro Slinger and her Astro Blaster to keep villains like the Psycho Rangers on their toes. The extra pair of hands and blast effect will help you create more poses and fun photos. You can pre-order In Space Yellow now.

Zeo Red

Tommy Oliver is getting another figure. Granted, I love Power Rangers Zeo as a personal favorite season and I’m glad more of them are coming out to join Rocky as Zeo Blue. Zeo Red will come with a new unhelmeted head sculpt to better reflect his look in Zeo. Fans will be able to pose him with extra hands, blast effects, his Zeo Power Pod Sword, Zeo Power Sword, and the Zeo Laser Pistol accessories. You can pre-order Zeo Red now.

Mighty Morphin Black

This is the release of Zack Taylor without the Dragon Shield. In addition, the unhelmeted sculpt features Zack’s look from the second season of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers and he’ll be coming with the first ever Blade Blaster in its dagger mode. Of course, it also comes in the blaster mode. Zack also comes with the Power Axe which can change to the Power Blaster with a blast effect. You can pre-order Mighty Morphin Black now.

Goldar

Goldar is one of the most recognizable villains in Power Rangers history as the general for Rita Repulsa and Lord Zedd. Honestly, I’m really disappointed in this release. We already got Goldar in the Lightning Collection. There are some minor changes though that they’ve made that some fans are going to love. Instead of Goldar’s wings, this new figure comes with his little winglets. In addition, his sword has been resculpted to be more detailed and he comes with a new blast effect that admittedly is really awesome as it’s fire that swirls up the sword. You can pre-order this new Goldar figure now.
