Hasbro Unveils 9 New POWER RANGERS Lightning Collection Figures in Fan First Friday
Hasbro recently held another Power Rangers Fan First Friday event and with that nine new figures for the Lightning Collection were announced. I will go through them in order of release. First, we have the A-Squad Rangers from S.P.D. and I will admit this is not very exciting. We got A-Squad Blue in a 2-pack with S.P.D. Blue recently and now the others are coming individually for $22.99 on August 1. A-Squad Green will be exclusive to Best Buy while Pink, Red, and Yellow will be exclusive to GameStop. Each one features 20+ points of articulation, a Delta Enforcer, a blast effect piece, and an extra pair of hands.
Next we have the figures I’m most excited for, two more 2-packs! Both are releasing on September 1 and will retails for $39.99 with pre-orders live from most major retailers. There’s the In Space Blue vs Silver Psycho 2-pack based on the classic “Five of a Kind” episode and Zhane’s head is going to be available for Silver Psycho. This set is really cool. The other 2-pack is Mighty Morphin Yellow with Aisha vs Scorpina. This is a little weird to me as I think these two share 1 episode together, but I think it’s cool to see both of them get figures now.
Finally, we are getting a very special In Space Red Ranger Andros. Yes, we did already get Andros in a 2-pack with Astronema, but this one is very different. This sees Andros in his stealth cloak that’s never suspicious. Underneath the cloak, Andros will be wearing a cool, black stealth suit. The figure also comes with a helmet, Spiral Saber, Astro Blaster, blast effect, and extra pair of hands. The figure does not have a release date yet, but will retail for $22.99.
