Haunting Trailer for Netflix Film LOST GIRLS Starring Amy Ryan, Based on the True Story

We’ve got a dark and gritty, dramatic trailer for you to check out for the Netflix film Lost Girls, based on the true events that were chronicled in the book of the same name by Robert Kolker, who first wrote about the murders of the women of Long Island in New York Magazine in 2011.

Here’s the synopsis:

When 24-year-old Shannan Gilbert mysteriously disappears one night, her mother Mari embarks on a dark journey that finds her face to face with hard truths about her daughter, herself, and police bias. Determined to find her daughter at all costs, Mari Gilbert retraces Shannan’s last known steps, driving her own investigation to an insular gated community near the desolate outer banks of Long Island.
