Haunting Trailer For the Psychological Revenge Thriller THE KILLING OF A SACRED DEER
This film, The Killing of a Sacred Deer, looks pretty messed up. It's a psychological revenge thriller that stars Colin Farrell, Nicole Kidman, Barry Keoghan, and Alicia Silverstone.
The story follows a charismatic surgeon named Steven, who is "forced to make an unthinkable sacrifice after his life starts to fall apart, when the behavior of a teenage boy he has taken under his wing turns sinister."
I love the dark, twisted, eerie feeling that I get from this trailer, but I still have no idea what to expect from this movie. That makes me all the more excited and intrigued to see it. I enjoy watching movies that unsettle me.
The film was directed by Yorgos Lanthimos, who is behind the crazy films The Lobster and Dogtooth. If you've seen either of those, then you have an idea of the kind of madness that this new film of his will entail.
