HAWKEYE Set Photos Feature Jeremy Renner and Hailee Steinfeld as Clint Barton and Kate Bishop
Some new photos have surfaced from the set of Marvel’s Hawkeye giving us our best look yet at Jeremy Renner and Hailee Steinfeld in the roles of Clint Barton and Kate Bishop. It was confirmed yesterday that Steinfeld was playing Bishop and that made a lot of fans happy.
It was also announced that the series would star Florence Pugh, Vera Farmiga, Fra Fee, Tony Dalton, Alaqua Cox, and Zahn McClarnon.
Farmiga is playing Kate's mother Eleanor; Pugh will reprise her role as Yelena Belova; Fee is Kazi, short for Kazimierz Kazimierczak, a.k.a. Clown; Dalton is Duquesne a.k.a. Swordsman; and Cox is Echo with McClarnon playing her father William Lopez.
I’ve also included a video from the set giving us a first look as Cox as Echo. The video comes from Murphy's Multiverse, who points out that Cox can be seen "communicating using sign language and rehearsing her scene" with a video showing her "exit a taxi and head towards an apartment.”
The Hawkeye series is currently shooting in New York City and these photos feature the characters on the run in a subway. You can check out several photos that have been posted on social media below.
Jeremy Renner is set to reprise his role as Clint Barton a.k.a. Hawkeye who will train Kate Bishop to become a warrior. We don’t have any concrete details on the story for the series, but it’s said to draw from Matt Fraction and David Aja's acclaimed Hawkeye comic run.
Troop Zero directors, Bert and Bertie, a.k.a. Amber Finlayson (Bert) and Katie Ellwood (Bertie), and Saturday Night Live and Comrade Detective director Rhys Thomas have been hired to helm some episodes of the upcoming Disney+ Hawkeye series.
Note in the images below there’s a poster in the window featuring the year 2025, which reveals the years that the series is set.
