HBO Bringing WESTWORLD, HIS DARK MATERIALS, and WATCHMEN to Comic-Con Along With GAME OF THRONES
HBO had previously announced that they are bringing Game of Thrones to San Diego Comic-Con next month, and now they have revealed more of their lineup. The cable giants will also bring Westworld, His Dark Materials, and Watchmen to the Con for fans to enjoy. Here’s a rundown of what fans can expect from each series:
His Dark Materials will have a panel on Thursday, July 18, at 4:45pm in Hall H. James McAvoy, Dafne Keen, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Jane Tranter, and Ruth Wilson will be in attendance, with an autograph signing taking place at 2:45.
The Game of Thrones final panel will take place on Friday, July 19, at 5:30pm in Hall H, with a signing at 3:30. Jacob Anderson, John Bradley, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Liam Cunningham, Nathalie Emmanuel, Iain Glen, Conleth Hill, Maisie Williams, and Isaac Hempstead Wright are the cast members who will be in attendance, with creators and showrunners David Benioff and D.B. Weiss and director and executive producer Miguel Sapochnik scheduled as well.
Westworld will have a signing at 11:45am on Saturday, July 20th, with its panel in Hall H at 1:15pm. The panel will include creators, executive producers, and directors Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy, as well as cast members Ed Harris, Thandie Newton, Aaron Paul, Tessa Thompson, Evan Rachel Wood, and Jeffrey Wright.
And last but not least, Watchmen will have an in-world experience that will take place in San Diego’s Gaslamp Quarter that fans will be able to participate in. I don’t know anything more than that, but color me intrigued.
Comic-Con 2019 is shaping up to be a crazy good time. I’m excited, are you?!
