HBO Max has some fun news for fans of crafting shows. The streaming service’s competition crafting series Craftopia is launching four holiday-themed special episodes over the next month and a second season with adult competitors has been picked up for next year. Craftopia will release two Halloween episodes on October 22 and then two winter spectaculars will be available on November 16. This looks like so much fun to watch! The series is hosted by Lauren Riihimaki, aka LaurDIY, who said:
The upcoming holiday episodes are cute beyond words with talented kids that will melt your hearts.
As for the second season with adults, the season is being dubbed Craftopia: Holiday Showdown and will be released in 2021. Riihimaki will return to host the eight episode season that will also feature surprise guests and brand-new challenges. Teasing the season, Riihimaki said:
For season two, not only are the contestants literally bigger, so are the challenges and we're taking everything to the next level. It's going to be an epic ride and I'm so grateful to be part of a show that embodies everything I love about being creative.
I am very excited and really want to check this show out now. You can find a trailer for the upcoming Halloween episodes below.
