HBO Max Gives Pilot Order to DEAD BOY DETECTIVES Series Based on Characters by Neil Gaiman
HBO Max has given the pilot order to a new series titled Dead Boy Detectives, based on the DC Comics characters created by Neil Gaiman, from The Flight Attendant creator Steve Yockey and Doom Patrol creator Jeremy Carver.
Written by Yockey, the one-hour series will “follow the Dead Boy Detectives — Charles Rowland and Edwin Paine — who decided not to enter the afterlife in order to stay on earth and investigate crimes involving the supernatural.”
Yockey will executive produce the series with Carver. Greg Berlanti, Sarah Schechter, and David Madden will executive produce via Berlanti Productions. Warner Bros. Television is the studio behind the project.
This sounds like a fun premise and an all-star team set up to create it. Are you excited for Dead Boy Detectives?
