HBO Max is Launching in 39 Latin American Territories This June
HBO Max announced last week that it is getting ready to launch to more territories in Latin America this year. That’s right, the streaming platform is no longer going to be stateside only. In fact, 39 territories across the Caribbean and Latin America will gain access via a new app, a variety of subscription options, and more. Talking about this expansion, Johannes Larcher, Head of HBO Max International, said:
We are thrilled for the launch of HBO Max in Latin America and the Caribbean, which is the first step in bringing WarnerMedia’s Direct-to-Consumer service to consumers outside of the U.S., and around the world. By combining HBO with the very best of WarnerMedia’s series and film catalog, as well as locally produced content from master-storytellers in Latin America, HBO Max will offer fans in the region an unforgettable and enriching entertainment experience.
If you currently have an HBO GO subscription, you’ll get instant access to HBO Max as HBO GO will be phased out. Additional details will be rolled out in the following months, but fans in the following territories will be able to enjoy HBO Max in June 2021.
