HBO Max Orders ADVENTURE TIME: FIONNA & CAKE (wt) Series

If you are a fan of Adventure Time then you will be happy to hear that HBO Max has ordered a series starring Fionna and Cake. Still produced by Cartoon Network Studios, these 10 half hour episodes will explore their relationship and the mysterious land of Ooo.

With help from former Ice King, Simon Petrikov, Fionna and Cake will have a multiverse hopping adventure while a villain determined to erase them forever lurks in the shadows.

No release date has been announced, but it will premier after the final installment of the four one hour specials that have run on HBO Max, the final one “Wizard CIty” will be premiering this fall.

I never got a chance to finish Adventure Time, but I hope this new series will retain the heart and charm that we came to love about the original.
