Hilarious and Rowdy Trailer For Season 2 of HBO's THE RIGHTEOUS GEMSTONES
HBO has dropped a new trailer for the second season of their over-the-top religious comedy The Righteous Gemstones, which follows a family of insane televangelists, who take viewers on quite a ride through their crazy lives. While each member of the family is trying to claw their way to the top, they leave a wake of friends and foes in their path.
The second season welcomes back Danny McBride as Jesse Gemstone, Adam Devine (Pitch Perfect) as Kelvin Gemstone, Edi Patterson (HBO’s Vice Principals) as Judy Gemstone, John Goodman (HBO’s Treme, The Connors) as Eli Gemstone, Cassidy Freeman (Longmire) as Amber Gemstone, Tony Cavalero (School of Rock) as Keefe Chambers, Tim Baltz (Drunk History) as BJ, Skyler Gisondo (Booksmart) as Gideon Gemstone and Greg Alan Williams (Greenleaf) as Martin Imari.
Recurring cast includes Walton Goggins as Baby Billy Freeman, Jennifer Nettles as Aimee-Leigh Gemstone, Jody Hill as Levi, Valyn Hall as Tiffany Freeman, Kelton DuMont as Pontious Gemstone and Gavin Munn as Abraham Gemstone.
New recurring cast additions this season include Jason Schwartzman as reporter Thaniel Block, Eric Roberts as Junior, Eric Andre as Lyle Lissons and Jessica Lowe as Lindy Lissons.
I can’t wait to see this next season! This series is so wild and irreverent. It’s a favorite, and by the looks of this trailer, the second season is going to deliver.
The Righteous Gemstones will start its nine-episode second season with two back-to-back shows on Sunday, January 9th.
