HBO Releases the Comic-Con Trailer for Damon Lindelof’s WATCHMEN Series!
HBO has released the first full trailer for Damon Lindelof’s highly anticipated Watchmen series. This is the same trailer that premiered at Comic-Con, and as you might expect, it gives us our first real look at what this series entails, and it looks awesome! There’s a lot of cool stuff packed into this trailer that is sure to get fans excited!
Watchmen is inspired by the graphic novel by Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons, and this series is a continuation of that story set years after the events in the original story. I can’t wait to see what that exactly ends up being.
The story is set in an alternate history where masked vigilantes are treated as outlaws. This drama series embraces the nostalgia of the original groundbreaking graphic novel of the same name while attempting to break new ground of its own.
The cast includes Regina King, Jeremy Irons, Don Johnson, Jean Smart, Tim Blake Nelson, Louis Gossett Jr., Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Hong Chau, Andrew Howard, Tom Mison, Frances Fisher, Jacob Ming-Trent, Sara Vickers, Dylan Schombing, and James Wolk.
Check out the trailer below and let us know what you think! The series premieres on HBO this fall!
