Trailer for HBO's Horror Drama LOVECRAFT COUNTRY Teases What's to Come in the Weeks Ahead
After the incredibly awesome first episode of the HBO series Lovecraft Country, we got a fantastic trailer that lays out what we can expect from the remainder of the first season. The first episode saw the characters Atticus Freeman (Jonathan Majors), his uncle George Freeman (Courtney B. Vance), and Atticus’s childhood friend Leti Lewis (Jurnee Smollett) set out on a journey from Chicago to Massachusetts to find Atticus’s missing father, while working on the Green Book guide that George publishes informing black people of the safe places to eat and sleep when traveling the United States.
The three characters’ trip was, of course, littered with bigotry and trouble. But things took a turn for the unusual when they were stopped after sundown by a brutal group of police, and they got more than they bargained for when a violent supernatural event occurred.
This series opener blew me away! I am so excited to see what happens in the upcoming episodes. Check out the trailer below that was released after the first episode that gives us a taste of what’s to come, and let us know what you think of the series so far.
