HBO Renews Bill Hader's BARRY for Season 4
HBO has just delivered some great news for Barry fans! Bill Hader’s dark comedy series has been renewed for a fourth season! I wasn’t even sure if we’d get a Season 4 so this is the best news!
We still have four more episodes left of Season 3, so we’re still waiting to see how this chapter of the story comes to an end, but one thing we know now… it will leave an opening to continue the story for another season.
Amy Gravitt, executive vice president of HBO Programming said in a statement: “Bill, Alec and the entire cast and crew delivered an exquisite third season of ‘Barry,’ it’s a masterful blend of laughs and suspense. I’m so happy to announce that we are picking up the fourth season.”
In Season 3, “desperate to leave his violent past behind in favor of his newfound passion, Barry (Hader) is attempting to untangle himself from the world of contract killing and fully immerse himself in acting. But getting out is messy. While Barry has eliminated many of the external factors that pushed him towards violence, he soon discovers they weren’t the only forces at play.”
The cast for the show also includes Henry Winkler, Sarah Goldberg, Anthony Carrigan, Stephen Root, and Sarah Burns. Returning recurring cast includes D’Arcy Carden and Michael Irby.
