HBO's Hilarious Series LOS ESPOOKYS Has Been Renewed For a Second Season

Have you seen season one of the super hilarious HBO series Los Espookys? If you haven’t, you should. It’s pure comedy gold. The series is part Spanish, part English, with subtitles and is based on a group of friends in Mexico who love the horror genre. They are hired to decorate for the leader of the group’s cousin’s quinceanera, where they decide to create the group Los Espookys.

The first season saw them go on crazy adventures taking jobs to create publicity stunts, and “standard inheritance scares”. The writing is so fresh and different. The cast is quirky and offbeat.

So I am delighted that we are officially getting a second season! I can’t wait to see where the story and characters take us. I only hope we get a longer season that the six-episode first season! Have you seen the show? Are you excited for a second season?
