HBO's WATCHMEN Lands 26 Emmy Award Nominations; Here's The Full List Nominations

Josh Gad, Laverne Cox and Tatiana Maslany recently came together to announce the nominees for the 2020 Emmy Awards, celebrating the best of the 2019-2020 TV season.

There are a lot of great shows that were nominated this year and HBO’sWatchmen was the most-nominated program, with 26 nominations! Some of those include Outstanding Drama Series, Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series for Regina King and more. 

The other top nominees include The Mandalorian, The Marvelous Mrs. MaiselOzarkSchitt's Creek and Succession.

Other notable projects recognized include Killing Eve, Better Call Saul, Bad Education, The Crown, Stranger Things, Curb Your Enthusiasm, What We Do In the Shadows, El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie. and more.

The 72nd Primetime Emmy Awards will air on Sunday, September 20 during a live broadcast that will be hosted by Jimmy Kimmel on ABC. It’s going to be interesting to see how the event takes place during the coronavirus pandemic. In regards to that Kimmel said:

“I don't know where we will do this or how we will do this or even why we are doing this, but we are doing it and I am hosting it.”
