HEARTHSTONE Gears Up for Fun Updates This Month
Blizzard has a number of plans for Hearthstone fans throughout September. When I play Hearthstone these days, I only play Battlegrounds, and that’s why I’m excited for the September 8 update. Not only will Forest Warden Omu, Jandice Barov, and Lord Barov join as new characters, but players will be able to play the game mode with more friends via Battlegrounds Parties. You can either get 3 of your friends to queue up with you or you can host private games of you and 4-7 of your friends to really prove whose best. This has me really excited!
Then, on September 15, a new (and free) Solo Adventure will be coming out about Jaina Proudmoore. Book of Heroes: Jaina will explore how the classic character came to be such a powerful Mage. Once completed, players will get a Mage Pack that contains only Mage cards for players to use. The Book of Heroes series will continue over the next 12 months until the 10 core Heroes have all had their stories told.
Finally, on September 23, Heroic Brawliseum will be returning. You’ll need to craft a deck and then compete until you either lose 3 games or come out victorious from 12. You’ll be rewarded based on how many times you win.
Fans will be able to purchase the Scholar Jaina Bundle that includes the new Scholar Jaina skin and five Mage packs between September 15-22 and the Magic of Dalaran Card Back will become available for purchase between September 22-29.
