Heartwarming Trailer For Documentary DEAR SANTA Follows Kids' Letters to the North Pole

We have a wonderful trailer for you to check out for the heartwarming documentary Dear Santa, all about the tons of letters that are written to Santa Claus each year ahead of Christmas.

In the documentary, a dedicated crew from the 100-year-old program called "Operation Santa" goes through piles of letters from children in all walks of life, hoping to fulfill the wishes of kids who may not have gotten much for Christmas otherwise.

Here’s the synopsis:

Shines a light on the 100-year-old "Operation Santa" Program of the United States Postal Service. Each year, hundreds of thousands of letters to Santa arrive at Post Offices around the U.S. Through Operation Santa, the United States Postal Service makes it possible for the public to safely adopt these letters and make children's dreams come true. The film invites audiences into the magic of this massive endeavor. Traveling the country, much like Santa does on Christmas Eve, it focuses on select "Operation Santa" Centers: some in metropolitan areas like the massive operation in New York and others in small towns where the Post Office is the heart of the community. The film highlights letters where a child is asking for something poignant, something that goes beyond the common wish for a toy.

This trailer really tugs at the heartstrings, and it looks like it would be a great watch this holiday season. Director Dana Nachman’s Dear Santa is set to hit select theaters and will be available On Demand on December 4th. Check out the trailer and poster below.
