Helena Bonham Carter is Set to Play Princess Margaret in THE CROWN Season 3
Netflix's The Crown isn't really the kind of show that I would normally watch, but I gave it a try and I was immediately sucked it. It's really quite good, and if you haven't watched it yet it might be worth checking out.
The third season is gearing up for production and the story is set in the later years of Queen Elizabeth's life. Oliva Colman will be replacing Claire Foy as the Queen in the next season and now it's been announced that Helena Bonham Carter is set to play the older version of the Queen’s sister, Princess Margaret. She will be replacing Vanessa Kirby, who did a wonderful job in the role.
Princess Margaret is considered to be one of the more controversial Royals, which has been portrayed in the first two seasons of the drama.
Series creator Peter Morgan previously talked about how he intended to replace key cast members in later seasons of the series. I wonder who they will get to replace Matt Smith, who played Prince Philip.
Seasons 3 and 4 have not been officially ordered by Netflix yet, but early production is underway, and they will most likely end up getting the greenlight.
Bonham Carter will next be seen in Ocean’s 8.
