HELL BENT Is a New Film in Which a Group of Mercenaries Hunt Down and Kill Satan

Movie Hell Bent by Joey Paur

Paramount Pictures is developing a new film with director Corin Hardy that has a hell of a cool concept that's described as the "Dirty Dozen Goes To Hell!" The movie is called Hell Bent and Lorenzo di Bonaventura (Transformers) is producing it.

According to Deadline, the story follows "a group of mercenaries imprisoned in a Brazilian jail are murdered and led into the depths of hell by a priest who wishes to use their skills to kill Satan before he brings hell to Earth."

This sounds like my kind of movie! I love this concept and it really could make for a spectacularly entertaining movie. It's also got a solid director attached to bring the story to life. Hardy is the director who made the horror film The Hallow, which I really enjoyed. It centered on a family who moved into a remote mill house in Ireland and finds themselves in a fight for survival with demonic creatures living in the woods. The movie is available to watch on Netflix, and you should check it out!

Hardy was previously attached to direct the reboot of The Crow back in 2014 but ended up dropping out when Relativity filled for bankruptcy. Hell Bent sounds like a much better film project for him, though, and I can't wait to see how it turns out!
