HEMLOCK GROVE's Penelope Mitchell Joins Neil Marshall's HELLBOY Reboot

The Hellboy reboot cast has increased by one...Penelope Mitchell (Hemlock Grove) has joined the Neil Marshall-directed reboot of Hellboy. Mitchell will play Ganeida, a witch who has decided that the Blood Queen's wrath has gone on for too long. She joins David Harbour who stars as Hellboy, Ian McShane as Professor Broom, Milla Jovovich as the Blood Queen, Sasha Lane as Alice Monaghan.

The film was written by Andrew Cosby, Christopher Golden, Hellboy creator Mike Mignola, and Aron Coleite.

Mitchell’s casting comes just after actor Ed Skrein made headlines for exiting the project following criticism of whitewashing. Skrein was initially cast in the movie to play a Japanese character.
