Henry Cavill Offers His Opinion on Superhero Movie Fatigue

Superhero movies have been being made for a long time, but when Marvel's Iron Man was released it changed the way fans saw superhero movies. It also ushered in a whole new era of awesome comic book movies. We are seeing more new superhero films than ever right now, and I've seen a few people complain that there are way too many. Personally, I'm enjoying the hell out of it! Marvel has easily cornered the market in the genre, but DC and Warner Bros. are currently planning and developing their big superhero and villain rollout. 

During an interview with Judão, Henry Cavill is asked about how he feels about the constant complaints he hears about there being too many superhero movies even though 2015 offered audiences several different types of genres. (That includes the spy genre with films such as Kingsman: The Secret Service and The Man From U.N.C.L.E.) Cavill doesn't seem to agree with the superhero movie fatigue and says: 

"I think it's anything which is prevalent and on top people are going to complain about. At the moment, the superhero genre is the most prevalent genre out there despite the fact that the spy genre is so strong this year. That's just the nature of it. It's one of those decade long genres, the superhero thing, which is going to keep on going and people will complain about it all the time, of course. The secondary genre each year will change, and this year it just so happened to be spy." 

I'm happy to hear that he thinks the superhero genre isn't going away anytime soon because I don't want it too. These movies are just way too fun not to have in my life. What do you all think about this? Are you getting tired of all these comic book movies being made? Or are you like me, and want to see them keep going? As long as the studios keep delivering quality content, I don't see why fans would want to see them stop. There are always going to be other films in different genres for us to enjoy!

By the way, if you haven't seen The Man from U.N.C.L.E. yet, you need to do yourself a favor and see it. That movie was freakin' awesome!
