Henry Cavill Shares Sweet Women's Day Throwback Photo Proving He's Been Superman All Along
Henry Cavill, who is best known for his role as Superman in Man of Steel, Batman vs. Superman, and Justice League, shared a sweet throwback photo this week of him and his mother in honor of Women’s Day on Monday.
The photo shares a caption that reads, “Today is International Women's Day and I'm dedicating this post to the most magnificent woman I know. My mum. An extraordinary, powerful, tough, intelligent, resilient, kind, thoughtful and caring person. That little boy on her lap learned an awful lot about what it is to be a good man from her. #InternationalWomensDay”
It’s a beautiful homage to the actor’s mother, and it comes with a fun little Easter egg. In the picture, Cavill is wearing a Superman costume. He is just a tiny boy, but it sure does tie into who he will become later in life. Not many people can say that photos of their younger selves have such foretelling imagery.
