Henry Cavill's Superman is Rumored To Appear in SHAZAM!
There's been no real update regarding Man of Steel 2 for some time. One of the last things we heard was that Matthew Vaughn was talking with the studio about possibly directing it. I'm sure it will eventually happen, but until it does it would make sense that the studio would want to keep the character fresh in the minds of fans.
According to a new report from Revenge of The Fans, Henry Cavill will be returning as Superman in director David F. Sandberg's Shazam! movie. There's no information on how big the role will be, but I guess there's a chance he'll at least make an appearance.
This is just a rumor for now, but with Billy Batson's admiration for Superman, it would make sense that the two characters would cross paths at some point before or after the young man becomes a superhero himself. I hope this rumor turns out to be true because it would be pretty fun to see Superman and Shazam meet up! Do you think they would face off against each other!? We'll just have to wait and see.
Shazam! is set to be released on April 5th, 2019.
