Here are More Details for ISLE OF ARMOR and CROWN TUNDRA for POKEMON SWORD and SHIELD

We recently got a new trailer for the Expansion Pass DLC for Pokémon Sword and Shield. It was a cool look at what to expect, but there were a lot of details that weren’t said. However, The Pokémon Company have updated their website to dive even deeper into what fans can expect. This includes a new co-op mode, new Gigantamax forms, new Legendary Pokémon, and much, much more.

One of the new features that fans will enjoy is the new Cram-o-matic which is an item that will let you combine 4 items into a new one. There will also be new clothing options, Trainer Card options, and Pokedexes to accommodate the new Pokémon introduced in the new regions. In addition, Max Soup is a new item that can be made with rare ingredients that will be able to grant some Pokémon, including ones you’ve had from the start, the ability to Gigantamax.

In addition, there are two new Move Tutor moves. Burning Jealousy is a Fire-type move that hits all foes and burns any that have boosted stats. Meanwhile, Grassy Glide which is a Grass-type move with high priority when used on Grassy Terrain.

Some of the new Pokémon include the return of fan favorites like Kingdra, Lycanroc, Garchomp, Crobat, Sealeo, and more. There’s Kubfu and Urshifu, plus, the new Legendary Pokémon Calyrex has been shown off more. It’s a Psychic/Grass-type and is described as the King Pokémon. Meanwhile, two new Legendary Pokémon related to the Regis (who will also be returning) will be added. Regieleki is an Electric-type Pokémon whose signature move is Thunder Cage which will not only damage opponents, but trap them for 4-5 turns. Meanwhile, Regidrago is a Dragon-type with the powerful move Dragon Energy which is stronger the more HP the user has, so it’s best early in the battle. Of course, the three Galar starters are getting some cool Gigantamax forms as well as Venusaur and Blastoise. Of course, there are also Galarian forms of Pokémon like the three Legendary Birds with new types! Articuno is Psychic/Flying, Zapdos is FIghting/Flying, and Moltres is Dark/Flying.

In addition, with Crown Tundra players can team up with up to three friends in a new cooperative mode that allows them to explore Pokémon Dens. If you win in any battles against Dynamax Pokémon, you can keep exploring, but if you lose, you’re kicked out of the den.

Finally, the Galarian Star Tournament will kick off when you’ve progressed far enough in Crown Tundra. This will include team battles where you’ll work with a trainer you’ve met and prove you’re the best.

I’ve included the official graphic for what content will be available in each piece of the Expansion Pass.
