Here are Some Highlights from STAR WARS: THE OLD REPUBLIC's 7.1 Digging Deeper Update
BioWare recently launched the 7.1 Digging Deeper update for their MMORPG Star Wars: The Old Republic. The update adds the R-4 Anomaly which is a new high-level Operation, the Manaan Daily Area, new Tacticals, Class balances, new UI customization options, and more. You can read all of the patch notes now, but I’ve included some of the highlights below.
The update brings an update to the SWTOR story where players will learn more about Darth Malgus’ fascination with Darth Nul. There’s also information regarding the fate of Sa’har Kateen who dueled Malgus on Elom.
The new R-4 Anomaly Operation is for 8 players in both Story and Veteran Modes for all level 80 characters. In the Operation, you’ll have to face an obscure Sith Cult that’s trying to harvest technology from an ancient weapon. Rewards include Virulent Armor Sets, Hazardous Armor Sets, decorations based on the Operation, and Item Rating 340 gear when played in Veteran Mode.
Manaan Daily Area provides two faction based storylines and repeatable Missions with rewards like Firaxan Weapon Sets, Manaan Defender and Nightlight Armor Sets, a Cerulean Turtle Minipet, and Manaan-inspired decorations for your Stronghold. To access the Missions, you’ll have to complete the Onslaught and Legacy of the Sith expansions.
The four new Tacticals added will be available at vendors in the Supplies section of each Fleet.
