Here Are the Highlights from the First Square Enix Presents Event

Square Enix held the first ever Square Enix Presents recently and there were a few things for fans to excited about. First, we got a new in-depth trailer for Outriders from People Can Fly. The trailer helps get players more acquainted with what they can expect in the game. This includes a bit of information about each class and what the story is all about. Outriders really impressed our own Daniel Black and definitely has potential. Fans will be able to play the full game on April 1 via PC (Steam, Epic, NVIDIA GeForce NOW), PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.

Next, we’ve got news about Marvel’s Avengers. In fact, the next-gen versions of the game are now available for those with a PS5 or Xbox Series X|S to enjoy. If you have a PS4 or Xbox One version of the game, you’ll be able to upgrade for free and even transfer your saved game. That’s not all, though, as the second post-launch Operation, Hawkeye – Future Imperfect also launched. Players can now play as Clint Barton, aka Hawkeye, and help bring down Maestro.

Third, Square Enix announced Life is Strange: True Colors. This is the next entry in the franchise from Deck Nine Games and follows Alex Chen. Erika Mori did the performance for Alex, and fans will get to explore a new chapter with a new mystery and new powers for fans to enjoy. Alex’s power is that she can sense people’s emotions and even understand why they feel that way. Fans will be able to play True Colors on September 10 on PC (Steam, Windows Store), PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.

Brought to life through full performance capture tech by rising talent Erika Mori, players will navigate Haven Springs as Alex Chen who has long suppressed her 'curse': the psychic power of Empathy, a supernatural ability which allows her to experience, absorb and manipulate the strong emotions of others - which she sees as blazing, colored auras. If that’s not enough Life is Strange for you, Life is Strange Remastered Collection was also announced. Finally, Forspoken was announced by Square Enix as the debut title for the new Luminous Productions. The game was known before as Project Athia and allows players to follow Frey Holland who must harness her magical abilities in the land of Athia. It was also revealed that Ella Balinska did the performance for Frey. Forspoken will launch in 2022 for PC and PS5. Talking about the game and Frey, Balinska said:
