Here are the Highlights from the POWER RANGERS Fan First Friday
Power Rangers fans were treated with several reveals during the recent Fan First Friday from Hasbro Pulse. I’ve included the entire video below, but some highlights follow. New toys were revealed for Power Rangers Dino Fury, including a choice that pissed off fans. The Green and Black Ranger toys in the 6” scale are releasing as part of a five-pack that will be exclusive to Amazon. The five-pack will also come with the Red, Pink, and Blue Ranger toys that many fans already have, and so many are calling Hasbro out on double-dipping. It does come off as a bad faith move to be honest, and I hope that they are soon released separately although I wouldn’t hold my breath. The Chromasaber does look really cool though, and the Zords look awesome as well whenever they’re able to launch.
That all being said, five new figures were announced for the Lightning Collection, and overall these have been pretty well received by fans. All of the figures are releasing on November 1 and will cost $22.99 with pre-orders now live from your favorite retailers including Hasbro Pulse. The figures revealed are Dino Charge Green that comes with a unique hand gesture, Zeo Yellow to finish the release of the Zeo team, In Space Pink which comes with a really cool blast effect piece to go with her Satellite Stunner, the Phantom Ranger which for some reason is attributed to In Space when his role is much more prominent in Turbo and he even comes with the Turbo Navigator, and the monster Eye Guy from Mighty Morphin.
At the very end, fans were also teased by a silhouette which many believe is hinting at a Ninjetti line of figures. This is going to make some fans happy because the Ninjetti costumes look dope, but many will also be very frustrated as it’s yet another dip into Mighty Morphin instead of exploring other seasons like Ninja Storm, Turbo, Lightspeed Rescue, RPM, etc.
