Here Are the Highlights of the /twitchgaming and ID@Xbox Showcase

Xbox recently hosted the first ever /twitchgaming Showcase: ID@Xbox event. During the event, there were developer interviews, updates, as well as new trailers for titles. Fans of indie games were treated to the news that over 60 indie games are coming to Xbox with over 20 hitting Xbox Game Pass on day one. I will include the full lists for the launch day Game Pass games and all the other titles later, but I did want to highlight some that I think look interesting. First, there’s the turn-based JRPG Astria Ascending from Artisan Studios and Dear Villagers releasing in 2021. Eight heroes must save the world and has their own story to explore across five cities and 25 dungeons.

In a world where chaos looms, players take control of the Demigods - a motley crew of eight heroes charged with the fate of the world. Each character has their own story, explored across five cities, 25 dungeons and 30 hours of gameplay up to 50 for 100 percent of completion. Along with the finely tuned turn-based combat, players can try out a range of side quests and mini-games, including an original fantasy-themed token game.

Nobody Saves the World comes from Drinkbox Studios and lets you adventure in dungeons and save the world by transforming into Forms like a Ranger, Rat, or Horse. This one sounds like a lot of fun. Oh, and Nobody is the name of your character.

As Nobody (yes, you play as a character named Nobody), you find a powerful magic wand which allows you to swap into different Forms to clear dungeons, solve puzzles, and complete quests (we did tell you it was an RPG).
