Here Are the Winners of the Crunchyroll Anime Awards 2021
Friday evening, Crunchyroll hosted the Anime Awards 2021. This is their annual awards show that allows fans to nominate and vote for their favorite anime from the previous year. There were plenty of great nominees, but in the end, only 18 awards could be given out. How did your favorites fare? Fruits Basket definitely earned the award for Best Drama in my book. Also, a big congratulations to JUJUTSU KAISEN for winning Anime of the Year. I haven’t watched it yet, but I’ve heard good things about it.

The college student who wants the world to notice him online, Kabasawa. A nurse with secrets named Shirakawa. A comedy duo that just can't catch a break named the Homosapiens. A local hoodlum named Dobu. An idol group that's just starting out named Mystery Kiss... All these mundane conversations somehow eventually lead to a girl who's gone missing.
Tokyo Revengers
Takemichi Hanagaki is a freelancer that's reached the absolute pits of despair in his life. He finds out that the only girlfriend he ever had in his life that he dated in middle school, Hinata Tachibana, had been killed by the ruthless Tokyo Manji Gang. The day after hearing about her death, he's standing on the station platform and ends up being pushed over onto the tracks by a herd of people. He closes his eyes thinking he's about to die, but when he opens his eyes back up, he somehow had gone back in time 12 years. Now that he's back living the best days of his life, Takemichi decides to get revenge on his life by saving his girlfriend and changing himself that he'd been running away from.
