Here's a Continuity Error in THE LAST JEDI Where Rey Should Have Technically Been Killed
There's a funny continuity error that was discovered in Star Wars: The Last Jedi that I'm sure Rian Johnson and the fight choreography team hoped fans would miss. But, it's clearly there and it shows that during the epic throne room fight sequence, Rey should have technically been killed by being stabbed in the back by one of the Praetorian Guards.
As you'll see in the video below, as Rey is fighting, the guard finds himself in the perfect situation to totally kill Rey but never makes that catastrophic thrust with his saber knife into her back. In fact, the entire saber knife in his hand just disappears! Check it out:
Choreographer: "but sir, as cool as it may look, if the red guard has two knives he could just stab Rey in the back"

Director: We'll just edit one out half way through the move, no one will notice.
FX Guy: Done. pic.twitter.com/5FbmvwoTr2
Of course, the fans on Twitter had some things to say about it:
That looks so bad. Well done, Disney. Well done.

Yeah, suspension of disbelief requires there to be logic within a scifi fantasy world. This ruins that suspension and makes you realize this is a terrible movie, and the scene only serves to show that Rey has LITERAL plot armor.

My disappointment is immeasurable, and my day is ruined.
