Here's a Creepy Detailed Close-Up Look at Adam Warlock's Cocoon in GUARDIANS VOL. 2
Concept artist Ian Joyner recently posted a 3D model of Adam Warlock's Cocoon that was featured at the end of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. You can check it out below. This gives us more of an up close look at the cocoon and it actually looks kind of frightening. it has a very creepy look and vibe. Now that I have a close up look at the design it almost looks like parts of the design were inspired by the work of HR Giger, who played a huge role in creating the visual style for the Alien films. This thing gives off a pretty creepy vibe. When talking about the piece, the artist said:
"I did a lot of passes on the Cocoon for the end tag of guardians (SPOILERS!), which was a lot of fun as I always loved when they showed up in the cosmic books from Marvel! The final look shown here had lot of golden hues/tech that tied into the sovereigns world and really looked awesome on screen."
Adam Warlock will most likely show up in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, which isn't going to happen until after the fourth Avengers film, so we've got a long time to wait. What do you all think about the look of the cocoon now that you have a better look at it?
