First Look and Details For The Upcoming Fantasy Comic FOLKLORDS #2

The first issue of Folklords was really interesting and I’m excited to see where things go. Now, we have our first look at the second issue. It looks like we’ll learn a little bit more about Ansel’s friend Archer based on the textless pages below. Also, the synopsis hints at two women, who do you think they’ll be?

“Against the orders of his village, Ansel strikes out to find the Folklords, the only beings that can explain his visions of another world. But the forest is even more dark and terrible than he was told, and Ansel meets two very different women who will change his life—one way or another—forever.”

Folklords #2 will be available on December 18 with print copies exclusive to local comic book shops. The series is written by Matt Kindt with art from Matt Smith. A variant cover by Michael Avon Oeming will also be available.
