Here's a Round Up for the New Card and Archetype Information for YU-GI-OH! BLAZING VORTEX

This last week, Konami has been unveiling some of the new cards and strategies that Yu-Gi-Oh! fans have to look forward to in the upcoming booster set Blazing Vortex. The set includes a number of World Premiere cards which is always exciting as well. To help introduce duelists to what’s in store, Konami teamed up with some content creators to show off the new archetypes and World Premiere cards.

Honestly, I’m really saddened by the new War Rock archetype. I am a huge sucker for Warrior-type monsters and these guys have some pretty cool art. However, these are so underwhelming. The archetype is focused on battle effects which just aren’t very strong these days when your opponent typically has several negates and big monsters on the board after Turn 1. I know some people are interesting to see how War Rocks will play with Gouki’s, but I’m not holding my breath. To quote Alex Cimo, these cards are “too fair.”

I personally I’m mostly interested in the S-Force archetype, but imagine that if any of these new archetypes makes it big, it’s probably going to be the new Armed Dragon Thunders. What do you think of the new cards? Which is your favorite?
