Here's a Second Look at BATMAN Writer James Tynion IV's New Series WYND
A good while ago, we learned that James Tynion IV (Batman) is working on a new comic series for BOOM! Studios called Wynd. We even got a first look when the series was announced. Now, we have a second look at the series, which now features words! I’m really excited for this new limited series featuring art by Michael Dialynas.
WYND #1 introduces readers to a world where magical heritage is punishable by death, so a young boy named Wynd must keep his true identity – and pointy ears – a secret from everyone in Pipetown, even if it means he’ll never have the normal life he wants. But when his secret is threatened, Wynd is forced to leave his home behind to embark on a dangerous quest that will put him at the heart of a royal conspiracy beyond his imagination.
In addition to this second look, we’ve also got a look at all the main covers that will be used for Wynd #1-4. Wynd #1 will be available on June 17 with physical copies available through local comic book stores and digital copies available through various outlets including comiXology, Google Play, iBooks, and Madefire.
