Dune fans are getting a new issue for the House Atreides comic to read later this month and we’ve got a first look to get you excited. Brian Herbert and Kevin J. Anderson co-wrote the prequel novel Dune: House Atreides and now they’re adapting and scripting the book in comic book format with artist Dev Pramanik (Paradiso), colorist Alex Guimarães (Buffy: Every Generation), and letterer Ed Dukeshire (Once & Future).
Leto Atreides has discovered the horrifying truth behind Ix’s success, calling House Vernius’ true nature into question and possibly spelling the House’s demise. The Harkonnens’ deadly influence continues to spread, forcing Duncan Idaho to take drastic measures; Reverend Mother Gaius Mohiam to play her trump card with the Baron. Pardot Kynes forms an alliance with the Freman that will change the course of Dune's history. Dune: House Atreides #4 is set to release on January 27 with physical copies hitting the shelves of local comic shops.
