Here's Our First Look at JIM HENSON’S LABYRINTH: MASQUERADE #1

Jim Henson’s Labyrinth: Masquerade #1 is an over-sized comic that takes place after Sarah leaves the ball. The comic tells the story of a new character and is sure to be a treat for fans of the classic 80s film. Lara Elena Donnelly wrote the comic with French Carlomagno (The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance), Samantha Dodge (Catwoman: Soulstealer), and Pius Bak (The Magicians: Alice’s Story) providing the art; Francesco Segala (Firefly) and Fabiana Mascolo (An Unkindness of Ravens) doing the colors; and Jim Campbell (Firefly) doing the letters. We’ve got our first look at what is to come down below.

You’re invited to the ball of the season! But all is not as it seems with the guests of Jareth’s famous Masquerade, as one of the partygoers slowly awakens to the reality of her topsy-turvy existence in the Goblin Kingdom after Sarah’s escape from the ball. As this mysterious participant puts together the pieces, her discoveries could unravel the very fabric of this fantasy world!

Masquerade #1 will be available on December 23 and features a main cover by Jenny Frison and a variant cover from Evan Cagle. Physical copies will be available through local comic stores while digital copies will be available through comiXology (affiliate link), Google Play, iBooks, and Madefire.
