BOOM! Studios has released our first look at the second team-up between the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. You can now read the first pages from Mighty Morphin Power Rangers/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II #1 and it’s absolutely fantastic! We have Casey Jones hunting Karai and Shredder, the turtles and April are in Angel Grove ordering weird food from Ernie, and trouble is brewing. Man, I cannot wait to read this comic! I especially love when Bulk approaches April about interviewing the Power Rangers. MMPR/TMNT II #1 is written by Ryan Parrott with art by Dan Mora, colors by Raúl Angulo, and letters by Ed Dukeshire.
In this sequel comic book series, several months have passed since the Teenagers With Attitude and the Heroes In A Half Shell teamed up to defeat the unholy alliance of Rita Repulsa and Shredder, but a new threat will force them to reunite in the crossover YOU demanded!
You can read MMPR/TMNT II #1 this December! The main cover art is by Mora with a special double gatefold variant connecting all four main covers available. There will also be variant covers from TMNT co-creator Kevin Eastman and Freddie Williams II, Bon Bernardo, Jenny Frison, Francesco Francavilla, Williams II, Ejikure, and more. There are a ton of variants and they’re all incredible although I think Eastman’s might be my favorite! Are you hyped for this sequel series?
