Here's Our First Look at the Luck-Driven World of GOOD LUCK
BOOM! Studios has given us our first look at the new comic series from writer Matthew Erman (Power Rangers: Sins of the Future), artist Stefano Simeone (Mega Man: Fully Charged), and letterer Mike Fiorentino, Good Luck. The series plays with the idea that luck is quantifiable, but what happens when certain people have zero luck. It sounds really interesting and I’m definitely going to be checking it out.
What if Luck was quantifiable, and something everyone was born with? Everyone, except the Unfortunates – teenagers born with absolutely zero Luck. Now, with the world mysteriously plunged into chaos and reality itself threatened, the Unfortunates are our only hope to save the world. When humanity’s last hope is a group of teens with no chance of success, the only thing anyone can do is wish them GOOD LUCK!
Good Luck #1 will be available on June 23 with a main cover by Jorge Corona (Wynd) and variant covers by Gerald Parel (Symbiote Spider-man: King in Black) and Junggeun Yoon (Magic). Physical copies of the comic will be available from local comic shops with digital copies available at comiXology, Google Play, iBooks, and Madefire.
