Here's What 24 Consoles Would Look Like if They Rendered Themselves

People love video games. They like playing them, talking about them, and arguing over them. Home video game consoles have been around for a while and undergone huge changes in terms of design and the graphics processing power. What used to be only a text-base medium evolved to use 8-bit, 16-bit, 32-bit, and beyond images to suck players in. This is a bit of a marvel to think about. The team over at Electronics Hub thought about this and also Roko’s Basilisk and asked Elijah Robertson to render some of the most popular home consoles as if the console had done the render. In other words, what if the consoles took a selfie?

Robertson was limited in what he could do. He had to use the same processing power, color spectrum, and hardware capabilities of each console. This created some very honest renders. I’m a little sad that SEGA didn’t make the list, but I think the consoles that made the cut are incredible.
