Here's What ARMY OF DARKNESS Would Look Like as an 8-Bit Video Game

Sam Raimi and Bruce Campbell are making their (hopefully) triumphant return to the Evil Dead universe this weekend when Ash vs. Evil Dead debuts this Saturday on Starz, but the last time we saw these guys collaborating in that context (aside from a brief post-credits appearance in the Evil Dead remake) was back in 1992 with Army of Darkness, the third movie in the franchise.

In celebration of Halloween and iconic character Ash Williams' return to the zeitgeist, 8-Bit Cinema is here with an imagining of what that film might look like if it were adapted as an 8-bit (or 16-bit) video game. The series already spawned three legitimate video games, but none of them looked quite like this:
