Here’s What The Original GHOSTBUSTERS Would Be Like as a Sitcom

Ever wonder what the classic film Ghostbusters would have been like as a live-action TV series sitcom? Yeah, me neither. But thanks to IFC, we now have an idea of what that might be like. They’ve cut together a sitcom-style opening title sequence for a show that follows “Five kooky friends and their wacky exploits battling ghosts, learning to love, and living in the city!”

Thankfully a series like this never happened with Bill Murray, Sigourney Weaver, Dan Aykroyd, Harold Ramis, Rick Moranis, and Ernie Hudson. Instead, we’re getting a reboot that a lot of fans don’t seem to be excited for.

Starring: Bill Murray, Sigourney Weaver, Dan Aykroyd, Harold Ramis, Rick Moranis, and Ernie Hudson. The sitcom we wish existed: Five kooky friends and their wacky exploits battling ghosts, learning to love, and living in the city! Check out Ghostbusters I & II on IFC this month.
