Heroic Warrior Defends The Remains of Civilization in The Trailer For Sci-Fi Epic LUKA
A trailer has been released for a new film titled Luka, which is described as a sci-fi epic. The movie comes from director Jessica Woodworth and it’s said to be a take on Dino Buzzati’s “The Tartar Steppe,” and it’s described as a “fantasy of post-truth lunacy.”
In the film, Luka, “a young and ambitious soldier, embeds himself in Fort Kairos where heroic warriors defend the remains of civilization. His hopes to serve as an elite sniper are crushed when he is assigned to maintenance and must submit to the code of Kairos: obedience, endurance and sacrifice. As he rises through the ranks, Luka finds joy and strength in friendships with Konstantin, an enigmatic radar engineer, and Geronimo, a light-hearted private.”
The film stars Geraldine Chaplin as a twisted General and she’s joined by Jonas Smulders, Jan Bijvoet, Samvel Tadesvossian, Django Schrevens and Sam Louwyck. It looks like an interesting movie.
